Arrival in Lusaka

Well, we finally made to Lusaka Zambia after about a 9 hour flight to London, 13 hour layover in London, and then another 11 hours to Zambia. The place I am living in is amazing! We have a refrigerator, a washing machine, and a flushable toilet. I feel truly blessed by the Every Orphan's Hope organization. After dropping off our stuff and settling in, we got a rough schedule of what we will be doing and where we will be going and it looks busy! We will be traveling from Lusaka to Livingstone, Kitwe, Kabwe, Chongwe, Musonda Falls , and Chibebe to visit orphans who are currently being sponsored by the generous people like yourselves back in the West. I will also be helping with the Camp Hopes in Chongwe this summer, June 22-25 and July 13-17. Please pray for the short-term missionaries on those two trips because they have the big job of connecting with the childeren who go to these camps and possibly making a lasting difference on the child's life. Well just to let you know how my schedule will look like for the next week, tomorrow we go to church, and then Tuesday through Saturday, we will helping out with te OVC (orphaned or vulnerable children, although we like to call them Orphans Victorious in Christ) Coordinators by going to Chawama to find orphans and training with them in preparation for the summer. I am so thankful to be here and I just want to praise God for the people who made this trip possible for me. Thanks so much and God bless!
